An Approved Contractor Scheme assessment asks for evidence, not assurances: that officers are screened and licensed, that service delivery is monitored, that complaints lead to corrective action, that incidents are recorded and reviewed. BOOK ON has a Compliance and ACS Evidence report family built from the same records the business runs on, plus the registers an assessor looks for: complaints, service reviews and CAPA, equipment, contracts and certifications.

| Welfare and lone working | How are lone workers monitored? | Alone filter, check calls, call reports, Monitor Location |

Registers an assessor expects
ACS assessments are easier when the registers already exist and are in use. BOOK ON’s registers area holds complaints, service reviews with corrective and preventive actions, and an equipment register; contracts, questionnaires and forms sit next to them in administration; additional certifications record NASDU, first aid and other courses with from and to dates. Each entry is dated and attributed, which is what turns a register into evidence.
- Complaints register with resolution
- Service reviews and CAPA
- Equipment register
- Contracts, questionnaires, forms and certifications

Audit trail and access control
Assessors and clients ask who changed a record. BOOK ON’s history and log reports show changes to shifts and records, permission reports show what each role can see, and the sessions screen shows logins. Roles and groups are managed in administration, so a controller, an account manager and a payroll clerk each see only their part of the system.

ACS questions
Does using BOOK ON guarantee ACS approval?
No. ACS approval depends on your processes and the assessment. BOOK ON gives you the records and reports that demonstrate those processes are followed.
Can I export the evidence for the assessor?
Reports are produced in the reports module and shift events export to PDF. The exact export formats for your assessment pack are confirmed during onboarding.
Does it cover the ACS self-assessment workbook?
The workbook is completed by you; BOOK ON supplies the figures and records for the sections listed above.
What about ISO 9001 and other standards?
The same registers, CAPA and audit trail support quality management audits. Compliance guides on this site cover BS 7499, BS 7984 and BS 7858.
